Description

Short but stout wagon wheels for many applications. These steel hub wagon wheels may be small in stature, but they can bear fairly heavy loads. Fitted with bearings at 5/8″, smooth rolling and built to last. Available with Steel or rubber tires. A quality wheel for any number of projects requiring 250 lbs. or less weight bearing per axle.

We can also fit these wheels with 3/4″ axles without bearings for loads up to 300 lbs. per axle. There are no bearings in this version, but the wheel hub itself serves as a bushing, and with a light application of machine oil they will roll very smoothly.

Typically on this type of wheel we use a type of snap ring/cotter pin at the axle’s terminus. On the 3/4″ version for heavier weight bearing we use a chrome cap that taps into the end of the hub, so there is no hardware sticking out at all.

If your project does not exceed 500 lbs. these will serve you well for many different types of projects. We have seen some pretty cool uses for these wheels.
